IMAGE LICENSING + USAGE RIGHTS
Thank you for looking into Image Licensing + Usage Right options with Driftwood Photography Studios and Benjamin Ginsberg. All images are available for Licensing. Being that you are looking at this page, you are either intrigued, or already know what imagery you would like to use. Luckily, Ben wants his images to be seen!
Licensing policies are designed to balance the costs of creating and marketing images, with DriftwoodFoto's desire to share them with the world at large.
Commercial and Personal Uses of imagery by Driftwood Photography Studios is allowed only if expressly granted by Benjamin Ginsberg. You will know usage rights have been granted because you will have read, signed, and returned a contract defining the particular usage rights purchased prior to receiving any images from DriftwoodFoto. All commercial uses will incur a licensing fee. Licensing/Usage fees are based on (but not limited to) the following criteria:
- Media to be published in (print, web, television, app, clothing/apparel tag, billboard, etc.)
- Distribution size (number of copies printed, viewing audience size, exposure -local, regional, national, international)
- Length of use (1 time use, 1 year, 2 years, etc.)
- Exclusivity (solely licensed use over given period, or non-exclusive use)
- Prominence of display (1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page, spread, front cover, back cover, online home page vs. interior page)
Sample use requiring a usage license:
- A marketing campaign for a commercial entity (print or online)
- A fund-raising campaign for a non-profit
- Placement on a commercial enterprise's website
- A background image for a website
- An individual print for use in a private home or office
All licensing inquiries for Driftwood Photography Studios' photographs should be sent to licensing@driftwoodfoto.com. Please specify which image(s) you are interested in, and as much information as possible in regards to indented use/licensing needs.
